Behind the Scenes of a Bridal Photo Shoot

It started with a dream…

Alyssa had a dream one night and couldn’t get it out of her head. So she talked with a few friends and they decided to help make the dream a reality. The dream was about creating the perfect wedding photo. Bridal photo sessions always look amazing. The hair, makeup, gown, flowers…all perfect and glowing as the sun sets behind the oak trees.

What you don’t see is everything to goes into those photo shoots. A group of creative local women business owners here in the Sierra Foothills joined forces, and we were lucky enough to be asked to participate and help make this thing happen. What a fun surprise – and believe me it was a surprise on Friday morning when Joleen (Joleen Willis Photography) called to see if the venue was available on Saturday afternoon. Not one to turn down a good photo shoot, I said: “Of course…come on down!”

We had to squeeze the photo shoot in between two bridal planning sessions (see how that went down here). Rick was on hand and provided technical and logistical support. I was just running around trying to pretend I was helping. Check out these behind the scenes shots…and the amazing results!
